When you're moving to a new city, the last thing you need is the hassle of hauling loads of stuff with you or rushing out to buy essentials when you arrive. We take care of the typical moving stresses so you can settle in quickly and start enjoying your new home (and yes, maybe even focus on studying too!).
Gas, electricity, water, high speed WiFi, and TV Licence are all included. The only extra cost is for the self-service laundry, for which a small charge applies.
We will clean your room once per month, including dusting, polishing, and vacuuming. Just make sure surfaces are kept clear for our housekeepers - and bear in mind that we cannot do your washing up or laundry for you!
We provide a fresh weekly set of bed linen and towels. This includes pillowcases, duvet cover, flat sheet, hand towel, bath towel, and floor mat. You'll just need to give back your used sheets each week.
You don't want to be running to shops straight away, so you will find some useful things in your room upon arrival. This will include some toilet roll, a few pods for the washing machine, plus a welcome drink and snack. In the shared kitchen, you will always find tea and coffee.
We can't list everything single item that may be in your room, as each is different. However, you should find that almost everything you need for day-to-day needs is here. We highly recommend packing smartly by only bringing your favourite clothes, electronics, toiletries, and any small personal items to remind you of home. You definitely do not need to bring kitchen items, cleaning things, or furniture of any kind. If there's something specific you'd like to check, then please contact us.
In the shared kitchen, you will find plenty of cleaning chemicals, cloths, sponges, bin liners, etc., plus a vacuum cleaner. You can use these at any time - just return them when you are done!
Everyone can enjoy the large shared kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. You'll find a wide range of self-catering equipment and appliances, including a full size oven. Plus, on warmer days, the courtyard is a great place to sit and relax.
In the unlikely event of anything going wrong with something in your room or in the property, we have a team on-hand to respond as quickly and efficiently as possible. Genuine emergencies can be dealt with 24/7, while less urgent matters are usually fixed within 24 hours.
